Is a trial required?
Yes. We require a trial session for all full bridal bookings. No exceptions. Trials happen at our Copley studio 4–8 weeks before your wedding date. This is where we establish your look, confirm timing, and make sure everything is right before the morning of.
How far in advance should I book?
For peak season (May–October), 12–18 months is not too early. We hold dates on a first-come, first-served basis after a deposit is received. If you've secured your venue, reach out immediately.
What areas do you travel to?
All of Northeast Ohio, including Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Hudson, Medina, Strongsville, and surrounding areas. We also travel to Columbus and beyond. Travel fee applies to all on-location bookings and is calculated at inquiry.
How many people can you accommodate?
Our standard team handles 6–8 people in a typical morning window. For parties over 8, we bring a second stylist. We've styled parties up to 14 people. Party size affects pricing — include everyone when you inquire.
Do you offer hair only, makeup only, or both?
Both. We offer bridal hair, bridal makeup, or the full combined service. Most brides who book with MAVON choose both — it simplifies your morning and ensures the look is cohesive.
What happens if something goes wrong on the day?
We've never had a morning fall apart — and the reason is preparation. Every MAVON booking includes a detailed timeline, a venue-specific plan, and a second-stylist option for large parties. Problems happen when teams are unprepared. We're not unprepared.
Do you work with specific venues?
Yes — and we know many of them intimately. Our venue guide pages detail exactly how we approach each property. If your venue isn't listed, tell us where you're getting married and we'll build a specific plan.
What's your cancellation policy?
Full details are in our booking contract, which we send after your consultation call. Generally: deposits are non-refundable, and final payments are due 30 days before the wedding date.
