Erica Meyer has been behind the chair for twenty years. Not twenty years of doing the same thing — twenty years of getting better at it. She built MAVON when her kids were young, on her own terms, on her own schedule. She started with her first clients in her own living room. No studio, no staff, just Erica, her kit, and a standard she refused to drop. That living room grew into a 1,200-square-foot industrial-chic studio in Copley — and the standard never changed.

She’ll be straight with you about what your hair can actually do — and she’ll talk you out of something that won’t work before you waste a session on it. She remembers what you mentioned last time. She notices things other stylists miss. She makes you feel like the only appointment on the calendar, because as far as she’s concerned, you are. That’s not a policy. That’s just how she is.

Her team is the same way — hand-picked, because Erica doesn’t bring people on who treat it like a job. Every artist who works under the MAVON name shows up prepared, invested, and genuinely happy to be there. On a wedding morning, that energy matters more than you’d think. Brides notice.
